Over the past decade, Winter Lights has become Asheville’s must-see holiday extravaganza, with more than one million lights illuminating the gardens of The North Carolina Arboretum.
Winter Lights 2023 takes place November 17 – December 31.

Arboretum Member:
To receive your member discount, first locate your Member ID number on the back of your Arboretum gate card.
If you need help finding it, call 828-412-8525. For new members, visit or contact Member Services to receive your promo code.
Next, select your date and enter your Member ID into the "Promo Code" box and click "Apply".
If you reach the payment section and do not see your discount applied, please go back to the previous section to enter your Member ID.

- Winter Lights is an outdoor, walk-through event.
- Winter Lights tickets are sold per-vehicle, not per-person.
- Winter Lights is a rain or shine event, tickets are non-refundable.
- Pets are not permitted at Winter Lights
- No outside alcohol is permitted at Winter Lights or in the parking area.
